ISAF YOUTH WORLDS EMERGING NATIONS PROGRAMME

The Emerging Nations Programme will create opportunities and better prepare young sailors as they build up to the 2015 ISAF Youth Worlds set to be held in Langkawi, Malaysia from 27 December 2015 to 3 January 2016.
ISAF will host regional performance clinics in five continents to provide class specific coaching expertise. Furthermore, training tips, rules sessions and more will be delivered to enable young sailors to become better all-round competitors.

Marseille Port Pilot

Nestled in the rocks of Friuli, the pilot house, built in 1950, to the sea looks like a ship ready to emerge. The Pilot Port of Marseille have always camped on the island of Ratonneau, waiting for the vessels bound for the southern entrance of the port of Marseille, before control passes to the city of Marseille.

“HAPPY” with loick Peyron

Loick Peyron has launched his Walter Greene trimaran and headed out for his first sail preparing to take part in “La Route du Rhum”. ‘Happy’ is the sister ship of Mike Birch’s famous Olympus.
“First training session on “HAPPY”, nothing but happiness. Small is beautiful !
So far so good. and very impatient to start my 49th crossing of the Atlantic.”

Loick vient de mettre a l’eau son plan Walter Greene “Happy”; sister-ship du célèbre trimaran de Mike Birch Olympus. Il s’est élancé pour sa première sortie en mer dans la cadre de sa préparation à “La Route du Rhum”.
“Première séance d’entraînement sur “HAPPY”, rien que du bonheur!
Pas besoin d’être grand pour être beau. Jusqu’ici tout va bien, je suis impatient de débuter ma 49eme traversée de l’Atlantique.
